Product Details

Our luxuriously soft beach towels are made from brushed microfiber with a 100% cotton back for extra absorption.   The top of the towel has the image printed on it, and the back is white cotton.   Our beach towels are available in two different sizes: beach towel (32" x 64") and beach sheet (37" x 74").

Don't let the fancy name confuse you... a beach sheet is just a large beach towel.

Artist's Description

This original 24"x36" oil painting on canvas was done January of 2009. It was done during a time when I was in good spirits, and my art was a reflection of that. I was completely sober in 2009-10 and the oil paintings I created were fresh, crisp and to me some of my best work was done those two years. I worked on one oil a week roughly those two years (creating roughly 52 total). With this piece, I used the viewers perspective of taking in this imaginary landscape in from plateau of lavender hues in front a pathway leading downward into a valley. With crazy impressionistic blue skies above and some clouds, the viewer is drawn into the painting from above. Brush strokes of colorful oils are blended into mountains, rivers, trees and landscape. Having a vantage point from above allows the viewer to investigate the piece and absorb the visually colorful landscape with excitement and interest. It could almost be like a vision of a national park. It was a fun piece to create at that time in...

About Timothy Foley

Timothy Foley

Hello! I'm Timothy Foley and I'm a contemporary fine visual artist who has been painting oils, acrylics and doing drawings for over the past 29 years. It has been an exciting adventure and humbling to be able to create as prolifically as the way I do. I attended college up in the white mountains of New Hampshire, while studying at Plymouth State University. I majored in Biology, Fine Arts & Art History with a minor in Psychology. I enrolled in an interdisciplinary studies program which allowed me to create my own bachelor's degree. Called "Environmental Artist. It consisted of Biology, or the study of life, which I like to think I apply it to my artwork creations in a unique way. My studies in the Fine Arts and Art History were done to...
